Why I Am Here

This next season of my life is dedicated to something I care deeply about: sharing what I've learned about building interconnected, humanistic communities. After years of leading teams, exploring Scandinavian cultural practices, and studying how people thrive, I'm now shaping these insights into a slower, more joyful form of work.

This is not a consulting business.

It's a retirement passion project — a space where I write, speak, host community, and engage with others on my own terms.

What I'm Creating

Writing
I continue to explore themes like human-centered leadership, time-rich living, Teal organizations, cultural renewal, and Norwegian/Scandinavian practices through books, long-form essays, and blog posts. Writing remains the core of my work.

Guest Speaking
I occasionally speak with organizations, communities, and groups about the ideas I care most about: time, culture, humanism, AI, resilience, joy, and better ways to work and live.

Light Coaching (Invitation Only)
I sometimes support leaders or founders who resonate with my writing. This is not a structured coaching program — it's relational, reflective, and highly selective.

Podcast & Conversations
I'm exploring gentle, curiosity-driven conversations through a podcast and other dialogues. These are opportunities to share stories, perspective, and lived experience — without rushing or forcing output.

The Archipelago Project
The Archipelago is the home for much of this work — a living community and knowledge base devoted to humanistic practices, time, leadership, and cultural renewal. It's where I host ideas, reflections, and collective exploration.

My Posture in This Season

This work is important to me, but it isn't my highest priority. My guiding principle now is simple:

If it brings joy, meaning, connection, or curiosity — I say yes.
If it doesn't, I let it go.

I'm retired from heavy engagements and traditional consulting. What remains is the part of the work I love: writing, speaking, gathering people, and exploring ideas that help us build better places — in our organizations, our communities, and our own lives.

How I Work With Others

I collaborate with people who value clarity, compassion, and depth over speed. I prefer relationships built on trust, autonomy, and shared purpose. I engage when the work feels aligned with human-centered values and contributes to a more joyful, time-rich way of life.

Why This Exists

This platform is an invitation — to slow down, to think differently, and to imagine more human futures.

It's the continuation of the work that has shaped my life, offered now with more spaciousness and intention.
